About iZs, inc.

iZs, inc. is a privately held interactive publishing company dedicated to stories and characters for teenagers and young adults. We’re using technology to change the face of publishing and make it more fun for everyone.

In a nutshell, we are:

• Using information technology — the Internet — and traditional publishing techniques to create an interactive Web-based environment that supports communities of readers with specific themes, such as pirates.
  
  
• Bringing like minded readers together in an interactive community based on core themes and stories.
  
  
• Inviting our members to become an integrated part of our story telling process instead of serving up products to the end user—readers—based on boilerplate stories (the existing approach to publishing).

 

Who is iZs, inc.?

 

Michael D. Reinke has more than 25 years of experience in magazine and book publishing. He’s the president of iZs, inc. and runs the operational side of the company.

S.R. Staley runs the creative side of iZs, inc. He’s been writing for fiction for more than 10 years (and nonfiction for almost 25). After finally deciding the traditional publishing industry didn’t understand the way the readers were evolving, he started iZs with Mike.

Len Gilroy is the technology director for iZs., inc. He’s the guy who translates the wild ideas of Mike and Sam into reality, and keeps us on the cutting edge and you connected.
